Magic Millions and TAB have strengthened their partnership, with the wagering operator securing naming-rights sponsorship of the 2026 TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival.
Magic Millions stated the rebranded carnival represents a mutual vision to expand the event’s magnitude, influence and international prominence.
“We are incredibly proud to announce TAB as the naming rights partner for the Gold Coast Magic Millions January Carnival, a partnership that goes far beyond a simple sponsorship; it is a shared commitment to innovation and the future of Australian thoroughbred racing,” Magic Millions co-owner Katie Page-Harvey said.
She described TAB’s support since 2020, including backing the Magic Millions Racing Women Achievement Awards, as “a game-changer”.
TAB chief executive Gillon McLachlan said the two organisations aimed to elevate one of Australia’s most recognisable racing carnivals.
“We’re delighted to partner with Katie and Gerry to grow and promote one of our most iconic racing carnivals β the TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions,” he said.
“At TAB we are looking forward to bringing our whole ecosystem to the carnival. We will broadcast the races to over 60 countries globally via Sky racing, paint the track green with activations and market leading offers across the TAB App and 3700 retail venues nationally.”
Magic Millions also announced the return of its long-standing ambassadors for 2026, including Zara and Mike Tindall, Billy and Nicole Slater, Hamish McLachlan, and Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier.
The 2025 carnival delivered more than $55.3 million economic benefit to the Queensland economy, state racing minister Tim Mander said.
