A trainer in the United Arab Emirates has been disqualified for two years for a cobalt offence.
Majed Al Jahouri pleaded guilty to a charge of presenting and racing a horse at Al Ain in Abu Dhabi on November 18 which was subsequently found to have a cobalt level in excess of 100mg per litre of urine.
Cobalt levels in Australia were recently halved from 200mcg/L in line with other jurisdictions..
