Snow Fairy continues to please connections as she builds towards a crack at the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on July 30.
Ed Dunlop’s four-year-old was a dual Oaks winner last season and claimed big prizes in the Far East at the end of the campaign.
She was being prepared for the Dubai Carnival but met with a setback and only returned to action against two of the greats of the game, So You Think and Workforce, in the Eclipse a couple of weeks ago.
While she performed as well as could have been expected after so long off, finishing fourth, a good deal more is expected of her next time out.
“Everything is absolutely perfect with her at the moment, and it couldn`t be going better before the Nassau,” said Patrick Cooper, racing manager to owner Cristina Patino.
“As we headed into the Eclipse we knew what sort of a task she faced, but you are always disappointed to be beaten. The bottom line is it was a great run after seven months off.
“It would have been an unbelievable training performance had she finished any closer to those two after seven months off.
“Hopefully, fingers crossed, the Nassau is what it’s all about.”
