The unbeaten 2000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes winner pulled clear of stablemates Bullet Train and Tranquil Tiger in the spin on the Watered Gallop on Racecourse Side.
All roads lead to the Group One showpiece at Glorious Goodwood in two weeks’ time when the Henry Cecil-trained colt takes on last year’s winner Canford Cliffs from the Richard Hannon stable.
“He worked fine. It was encouraging. He seems to be settling well, we’ll see,” Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said.
