The Hong Kong Jockey Club is pleased to announce that the cross-border horse movement (CBHM) between the Mainland and Hong Kong resumed on Thursday morning (14 April).
Horses who are based in Conghua Racecourse (CRC) and entered for next Wednesday’s Happy Valley race meeting (20 April) will arrive at Sha Tin tomorrow (Friday, 15 April), when the five CRC-based entries of the Group 1 races on FWD Champions Day (24 April), namely Lucky Patch, Mighty Giant, Columbus County, Reliable Team and Zebrowski, will also be transported back on the same day.
The Club would like to express gratitude to both Mainland and Hong Kong authorities for their continuous support in assisting all procedures regarding CBHM.
In addition and with immediate effect, horses based in Conghua who were unable to return to Hong Kong and race, will receive a ‘Super Priority’ to run in the following race meetings: 20 April, 24 April, 27 April, 1 May, 4 May and 7 May.
This ‘Super Priority’ will be available as a one off for each horse during the above period, guaranteeing them automatic entry into their allotted race. In both Class 4 and 5, trainers are only permitted to prioritise a maximum of one horse per race, while in Class 3 or above they are allowed two ‘Super Priority’ runners in a single race.
