Godolphin’s Antara remains a possible for the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket next week.
The five-year-old returned to action this season when winning the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at the Derby meeting for the second successive year.
This time connections decided to skip the Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot to keep her fresh for the July meeting in the hope she can land an elusive first win at the highest level, having finished second twice in Group One company last term.
“She’s fresh and she’s happy – she’s doing really well at this moment in time,” trainer Saeed bin Suroor said.
“She’s got the entry so obviously she’s a possible runner in the Falmouth, but we’ll just weigh up the options.
“We’ll keep an eye on her in her work in the next few days and see how she goes, we’ll keep her options open.
“I think a mile (1600m) suits her well and she deserves to win a Group One, she was second in two last season.”
