4 Meepmeep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top in the opener. He is several weeks between runs since a win over the mile on the dirt here, sitting off speed and was trucking before being clicked up by Bowman and away he went to win and win well. 1800m is fine, he rates highly.

11 Super Hong Kong (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1800m after racing over 2200m at Happy Valley last start. He got dragged back from the wide barrier and made up good headway late without threatening behind Rosewood Fleetfoot. Back in trip is fine and with a more positive ride, he’s dangerous.

10 General Smart (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile here last start. He got back off speed and was held up at times but kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat when fourth. 1800m is okay for mine and this isn’t a deep contest.

1 Winning Machine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win and he gets a great chance here. He ran over this track/distance five weeks ago where he landed in a decent spot near the speed and was there to win but just found one better. Tick over trial was good, Moreira takes over, keen on his prospects.

8 Double Bingo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1200m here three weeks ago. He got back to near last in the run and worked home with real purpose when second to Enjoy Golf. If he can use the gate this time around and settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

6 Mazing Grace (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth in the same race that Winning Machine ran second in. He did early work from a tricky gate and that burn just told late. Maps much better, he’s certainly dangerous against these.

2 Master Payment (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks extremely hard to beat for the Yip camp. He has run down the straight in both runs and each time has finished off his race nicely to run second. Racing like 1200m sticks, Purton on, he’s a clear top seed for me.

1 Sky Deep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Deep Field that resumes for Caspar Fownes. He ended last prep on a high with a win over 1400m here on March 23, last year. Long time off but has had extensive trial work to get ready so watch betting.

3 Vigor Fly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Kermadec for David Hayes that debuts. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and hasn’t been too bad to my eye in readiness. Bred to appreciate further but the trials suggest he has ability so watch betting.

3 Solid Car (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take a power of beating for David Hall. He has been strong his past couple, the latest being over this track/distance three weeks ago when second to impressive winner Run Run Smart. Form reads well, maps ideally, the one to beat.

2 Strathpeffer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth at this track/distance three weeks ago. He got off speed and kept chasing in the straight but did have his chance. Maps to settle a fraction closer and should be effective late.

4 Prestige Come (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Star Turn that debuts. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and for the most part hasn’t looked too bad, so I say watch betting and see what it does with him.

11 Night Purosangue (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top for me. He steps up to 1800m after a win over the mile at Sha Tin on the dirt, sitting near the speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. The extra 150m should be fine, he rates highly.

9 Yoda’s Choice (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a last start track/distance winner, leading throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, he’s in the mix.

8 Bright Inheritance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over the mile here where he looked in need of the run and that’s how it panned out behind Big Return. Fitter and up in trip, host of gear chances, he’s an improver at odds.

9 Reliable Dad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an each way bet for me. He hasn’t raced since March 18 over the 1800m at Happy Valley when a fair way out of his ground but was good late in the piece. Recent trial was good and if he can use the gate and settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

6 Bling Bling Genius (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Douglas Whyte and commands respect. He has won two on the bounce, both at this track/distance. Last start saw him ridden with intent, leading throughout and had enough in hand to score. He’ll be around the mark.

11 Grand Turbo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over 1800m here. He got back to near last in the run and was okay late without threatening Romantic Fantasy. Tick over trial last week was strong and he’ll be strong late. Just depends what start he concedes.

In the corner of 10 Enjoy Golf (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, leading throughout and was quite strong to the line in winning. That was a moderate Class 5 but in saying that, this is a moderate Class 4, so for mine, he’s the one to beat.

4 Little Monster (Bet Now:  $SP.00) also led throughout to win at this track/distance three weeks ago. He won a Class 4 and scraped in, but did gap the rest in the process. Good racing style, he’ll run an honest race I am sure.

1 Big Big World (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Maurice that debuts. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and hasn’t looked too bad to my eye. Bred to appreciate further, but he’s one I’d include in exotics.

14 Sparkling Fellow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me in an open contest. Several weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He got a mile back out of his ground but worked home with real purpose. If within range, he’ll launch late.

12 Lucky Candy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second at this track/distance last start, landing on speed and was there to win but just found one better in Straight To Glory. Good racing style and does seem to like the straight course.

1 Mickley (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was pretty good in defeat two back at this track/distance before going to 1200m two weeks back when back and was never really a factor. He’ll likely spot them a start here but launch late and is one for exotics.

6 Effortless Win (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is 2/2 to start his career and no reason why he can’t make it three. Several weeks between runs since resuming with a track/distance win, finishing best from near the speed for a narrow but gritty triumph. Maps ideally, fitter, he’s the straight bat play.

4 Celestial Hero (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third at this track/distance three weeks back. He got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. Tricky gate but with luck, he should be around the mark.

3 Stay Cosmic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. Former Australian that makes his Hong Kong debut for David Hayes. He last raced in the Caulfield Guineas when down the track behind Autumn Boy. Looks to have trialled well, watch betting.

6 Rising Force (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a model of consistency and seems the straight bat play. He ran over this trip at Happy Valley last start, sitting off speed and tried hard but just found one better in Victor The Winner. Maps to get a sweet run in transit and be effective late.

8 Hot Delight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) won his first three runs in good style before the unbeaten run came to an end on May 9 here when on speed and felt the pinch late behind Patch Of Stars, perhaps not handling the rain affected ground. Tricky gate, but a tick over trial was strong and he can bounce back.

5 Magic Control (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Happy Valley where he found them a bit sharp but kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat. Like the rise in trip…doubt he wins but can run first four.

14 Rising From Ashes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the each way speck of the meeting. Loved the way he returned over 1200m here, getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. If he can use the gate and settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

7 Chill Easy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He settled off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when second to Perfectday. Maps ideally and should be around the mark.

2 Make You Smile (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Perfectday in that race mentioned above and was a real eye catcher the way he got back and closed off late in the piece. If within range, he has the finale to be dangerous.
