4/3/2026 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Happy Valley

9 All Are Mine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating after racing over 2000m at Sha Tin on Jan 18 when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat when third. Back to 1800m looks ideal and strikes a winnable race.

4 Hailtothevictors (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is just under two weeks between runs since racing at this trip at Sha Tin when off speed and seemingly had his chance but he kept chasing in a good effort. If within range he has the finale to be dangerous.

2 On The Lash (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track in the same 1800m race at Sha Tin, won by Cool Blaze. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but just whacked late. Not sure he can win but he can run first four at odds.

6 Only U (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is five weeks between runs since racing over this trip at Sha Tin. He got off speed and closed his race off well enough in defeat. If he can settle closer and be within range, he takes holding out.

3 Sterling Wongchoy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m at Sha Tin. He ran his usual honest race in defeat but just lacked the killer blow. I do think back to 1200m suits and with luck from the gate, he can be around the mark.

2 Call To Command (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran last Wednesday night at this track/distance where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. He can finish strong so I wouldn’t be dismissing him.

2 Serangoon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2200m after a win over 1800m here three weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. The rise in trip should be fine and despite the wide gate, he’s top seed.

1 Young Bravo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran over 1800m four weeks ago here where he got a fair way back off speed and kept chasing without threatening. He’s racing as if a rise in trip will suit and strikes a winnable race.

8 Ping Hai Comet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2200m after racing over the mile a few weeks back at Sha Tin when off speed and just whacked in the run to the line. 1/1 at the track/distance, I wouldn’t be dismissing him.

8 Star Performer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps here in what looks a pretty thin contest. He ran over 1000m here last start when off speed and worked home okay but was never really a winning threat. 1200m is a slight query but with the right run in transit, he’ll be strong late.

9 Falcon Hunter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a real eye catcher several weeks ago at this track/distance, getting back to near last in the run but was very good late when third. If he can get a drag into the race, he can launch late.

7 Flash Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is five weeks between runs since a track/distance effort which saw him finish down the track after getting a decent run on speed. Hit and miss this guy but his best is good enough to be dangerous.

2 Tactical Command (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top for me. He was good in defeat last Wednesday at this track/distance. He got off speed and closed with purpose when second. He needs luck from the gate but if he gets it, he’ll take holding out.

5 Giant Ballon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran over this trip at Sha Tin last time. He got into a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Purton rides, kind map, he’s a leading contender.

8 Happy United (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m here a few weeks back. He got back in the run and made up some headway but was never really threatening. Tricky gate but will be strong late and is a knockout hope.

7 Flying Wrote (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive display. Maps to get the run of the race and confident he can measure up against these.

3 Symbol Of Strength (Bet Now:  $SP.00) placed at this track/distance three weeks ago, getting a decent spot just off speed and presented to win but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Lucky Planet. Good racing style, he should be around the mark against these.

5 Romantic Gladiator (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. Former Irish galloper that is now with Danny Shum. He was 2/2 in Ireland before being purchased. He has had extensive trial work and hasn’t looked too bad so watch betting.

9 Take Action (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since placing over 1800m here where he got a fair way out of his ground but you had to like the way he finished his race off in defeat. He should be strong late. Just depends what start he concedes.

8 Northern Beast (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third three weeks ago at this track/distance behind Inno Super, getting off speed and worked home pretty well late. If he can settle closer or be within range, he has the finale to take this out.

10 Kolachi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth in the Inno Super race mentioned above. He got into a decent spot in transit just off speed but lacked the killer blow to go with them late albeit far from disgraced in defeat. He’s a first four threat

4 Spicy Gold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the throw at the stumps for the meeting. He ran behind Lucky Planet three weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed from the tricky gate and couldn’t really get involved. Maps to do no work in the run and I think can only run a positive race.

1 Lucky Planet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) won the race mentioned above, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. He should find the top again and from there, tatie running down.

6 Metro Power (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m down the straight at Sha Tin just under three weeks ago. He tried hard when fourth but did seemingly have his chance. Think 1200m is okay, he’s a knockout hope.

3 Corleone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the good thing on the program. Track/distance winner from four weeks ago, getting the suck run in behind before angling clear and finished best to score. He’s a horse heading in the right direction and despite the tricky gate, I think it’s a case of good luck beating him.

1 Silvery Breeze (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since running fourth at this track/distance where he was dragged back from the wide gate and made up good ground without threatening. Maps to settle much closer and be effective late.

6 Super Unicorn (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track behind Corleone in the race mentioned above but his run had merit given he was taken back and spotted them a start in a race dominated on speed. If he can settle closer in the run, he’s dangerous.

BEST BET: Race Nine Number 3 Corleone

NEXT BEST: Race Two Number 6 Only U

LONG SHOT: Race Eight Number 4 Spicy Gold
