Race 1 8:45am 1400m Mdn Turf
If you couple up NATIVE PRINCE with GOLDEN CLOISTER and KEEN ARTIE, you’re going to get a good run for your money. All are in top stables, with best riders and drawn to get good runs as well. I’m not overly keen on the fav BOKERMIN who may get caught a little wide.

Race 2 9:15am 1700m Turf
All girl affair here. Off this draw SAILING BY should sprint quickly early and lead, and, if left alone will take catching as she is trained by Mark Casse. Won 2 starts back by leading all way slightly shorter race at this level. MAKE NO MISTAKE and LOVE DADDY went one two when they last met and it was at this claiming price. Surely that form holds up and they are in this finish again.

Race 3 9:43am 1640m Mdn Synthetic
If form stands up, TARA DAWN should be winning this. She made impressive late ground in shorter race last start for 2nd spot, but it was a stakes race and this field is not in that league. TEXT ME UP is also dropping in grade here following a placing and does seem suited to this longer journey. This pair look the quinella all night. NOVEMBER FOG has had 2 runs and has been useful without really threatening. Outside the main players, the rest are weak.

Race 4 10:15am 1700m Turf
The inside horse here MIRIAM’S SKY has form and pace and from this alley should be in this for some time. Beaten narrowly by a smart one last start. The Liz Elder-trained SPIRIT OF YORK will be big odds but he has finishing power and you should have him in your numbers. SHARP BREW has been freshened up for this after a good 3rd in a stronger race back in July. Should be ready to rumble.

Race 5 10:45am 1300m Synthetic
BIG BLIND has the star apprentice riding here and he was a good thing beaten last start this grade when 2nd after being trapped wide all the way. Gets the job done with a decent run and he should find that here from this better draw. BUTILOVESYABABE is an old boy but he’s in good hands and the rails will help. This is not a good field. SEVENCOMINGOUT is the leader here. He should ping from out wide, cross and will be there battling away at the end.

Race 6 11:14am 1300m Synthetic
DOLLY’S DAGGER looks pitched-forked into this. Has strength and against a bunch of weak finishes here that’s an asset. Drops in grade and has been placed recently. SWEET BRYNLIE scored in equal grade here two starts back and returned with a game 2nd finishing it off well. Sure to be a length or so off pace to the bend and is very fit. LEROIDS MOMMIE doesn’t boast good form but has drawn to get a good run in this and that may turn things around.

Race 7 11:45am 1700m Synthetic
RAPID FIRE is interesting. He has shown zero in 3 sprint races this time up. Not even finishing them off. But many times, horses just wont go when bustled and he gets the opportunity to slide into a snice spot early with less tempo to combat and that works wonders on occasion. PLAY ON STERLING was fancied at both his starts to date but has yet to run a place. Saying that, he’s fitter now, the trip suits his pedigree this time and he’s down in class. All up that may help. PERSONAL JOURNEY finds a weak race here. Has enough talent, if he gets cover behind the pace, to swamp these late. Has placed twice this time up.

Race 8 12:12pm 1200m Synthetic
DILLY DALLY DARBY is in form. Raced greenly oddly enough twice this year but form is good with 4 starts a win and 2 x placings. Outside draw is an issue but if she gets across and finds cover she is a big player. LIGHT MY PATH needs clear air in the straight but may get that here as there will be loads of speed early and a few will tire in the straight. SNELL FLICKA won at the easier Fort Erie track last start by leading all the way. This isn’t strong but will have company early.
