Smart Victorian mare Solicit is heading north to the Gerald Ryan stable at Rosehill.
Previously trained by the training partnership of Matthew Ellerton & Simon Zahra at Flemington, Solicit has been sent to Ryan in a bid to recapture form after some disappointing runs from her standard.
Zahra confirmed that Solicit left the stable on Tuesday morning.
Solicit’s best form includes a close 2nd in the Storm Queen Stakes behind Lucia Valentina last autumn and wins in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes and Group 3 Vanity.
Co owners of Solicit , Contract Racing have had good success with Ryan back in the 90’s with Blue Diamond winners Hurricane Sky in 1994 and Paint in 1996.
Solicit is still entered in the Doncaster Mile and Queen Elizabeth Stakes though would have to improve dramtically to be competitive in either race off her 1st up performance last week at Caulfield.
