Windsor Park announces 2025 Stud Fees

Windsor Park Stud has confirmed its stallion roster and fees for the 2025 breeding season, with the addition of six-time Group 1 winner Auguste Rodin drawing significant interest. The champion colt is already oversubscribed at an introductory service fee of $30,000 + GST.

Auguste Rodin, a standout from the final crop of legendary sire Deep Impact, captured both the English and Irish Derbies during a classic three-year-old campaign. He also claimed elite victories against older horses in the Irish Champion Stakes and Breeders’ Cup Turf, becoming the only 3YO in history to win all four races in a single season. He added the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot at four to his glittering résumé.

Joining him once again on the shuttle from Coolmore in Ireland is Paddington, who will return to Windsor Park for his second Southern Hemisphere season. The four-time Group 1 winner by Siyouni covered a full book in 2024 and is also oversubscribed at $35,000 + GST for 2025.

Shamexpress, one of Windsor Park’s proven sires, has had a standout 2025, led by the world’s top-rated sprinter Ka Ying Rising, who has captured three Group 1 races in Hong Kong. Other notable performers include Grinzinger Belle, Blue Sky At Night, and Singapore stakes winner Lim’s Saltoro. His service fee has been set at $20,000 + GST for the upcoming season.

Profondo, a Group 1-winning son of Deep Impact from Redoute’s Choice’s daughter Honesty Prevails, enters his third season at stud with strong momentum. After serving more than 350 mares in his first two seasons, he remains popular at a fee of $17,500 + GST. His first foals have been well received and are expected to make an impact on the track soon.

Also standing at $17,500 + GST is Circus Maximus, the dual Royal Ascot-winning miler. Now in his fifth season, the son of Galileo has sired multiple promising 2YO performers from his first Australasian crop, including unbeaten filly Ha’penny Hatch and metro-placed runners Rufus, Towering Vision, Miss Parker, and Engine of War.

Veteran sires Vanbrugh and Turn Me Loose round out Windsor Park’s 2025 roster. Group 1-winning Encosta De Lago son Vanbrugh has maintained a strong 5.6% stakes-winner-to-runner ratio from a limited pool. His upcoming crop of rising 3YOs promises to build on a foundation established by stars Mustang Valley and Wild Night. He will stand at $7,500 + GST.

Turn Me Loose continues to produce regular winners across Australasia. His 2025 record includes 52 individual winners and more than $2.6 million in earnings, led by standout 3YO filly Loose Sally. He has sired multiple stakes winners in both New Zealand and Australia, including (She’s) Lickety Split, Prix De Turn, and Ancient Girl. He also commands a $7,500 + GST service fee for 2025.
