Greg Eurell unveiled an impressive debutant at Pakenham on Friday when Cyber Link proved too strong in the opening heat of the Ladbrokes Future Stars Series.
Ridden by Beau Mertens, the son of Bivouac out of the multiple city-winning All Too Hard mare Sasso Corbaro started a $3.30 favourite following strong trial and jump-out performances.

Cyber Link was left in front a long way from home but justified the market support, holding on gamely to score over 1200 metres at his first race appearance.
Michael Meheganโs debutant The Benchmark ($23) finished strongly late, however Cyber Link found again in the closing stages to secure a convincing win.
โIt was a great effort. Itโs been a big build-up for him, and weโve certainly taken our time, and the reward was there,โ Eurell said.
โHe always shown a bit of ability but had some typical immaturity and some problems on the way through. Nothing of any seriousness, but it was just a time thing.
โHeโs a lovely horse to work with, and for a colt, heโs very sensible. I think heโll get a lot out of tonight.โ
