Peter Profit arrived at the races unbeaten in three trials, a record that saw bookmakers install him as a dominant favourite for the 1100m maiden.
Sent out at $1.60 with online betting sites after easing slightly from even shorter odds, the youngster produced a professional display to score by one-and-a-half lengths and maintain his unbeaten record.

Bred by retired Group 1-winning jockey Scott Seamer, Peter Profit was purchased by Bellamy for just $28,000 at last year’s Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
