Victorian farm Lovatsville has confirmed its six-stallion roster for 2026, highlighted by the addition of multiple Group-winning juvenile Espionage and a series of fee reductions across the board.

A son of Zoustar, Espionage will stand his first season at stud for $11,000 (inc GST) after a successful racing career under the care of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, with Coolmore retaining an interest in the colt.

Move To Strike will remain at $16,500 following a strong first season at stud, where he ranked among the busiest new sires of 2025.

Gold Trip and Generation headline the fee reductions, with Gold Trip dropping to $5,500 from $8,800 and Generation reduced to $6,600 from $11,000.

Lovatsville’s Sam White said securing Espionage was a major win for the farm and the Victorian breeding industry.

“He is a great coup for our farm and for Victoria, and Coolmore’s continued backing underlines his credentials in this market,” White said.

“He’s a beautifully coloured stallion with a fabulous Zoustar-styled head, a brilliant loose mover with a plunging girth and a great shoulder. He has scope, short cannons, great length to his hocks, and an outstanding demeanour.”

Royal Meeting and Fierce Impact will both stand at $8,800 in 2026, with significant fee reductions applied from their previous service fees.

White also highlighted incentives for breeders, including a 25 per cent discount on Generation’s fee for mares from the Written Tycoon sire line.

“It’s an exceptional cross, and one we’d like to exploit,” he said.

The farm has taken a pragmatic approach to pricing this season, aiming to remain competitive in a challenging market environment.

“We’ve taken the view this year that we meet the market. It’s a competitive game, and the industry is healthy, but when conditions are challenging, we need to be sure we’re on the journey with everyone in it,” White said.

Lovatsville’s 2026 roster comprises Espionage ($11,000), Move To Strike ($16,500), Royal Meeting ($8,800), Fierce Impact ($8,800), Generation ($6,600) and Gold Trip ($5,500), all fees inclusive of GST.
