This year’s 3YO crop is staggeringly good.

And we can add another name to the list in HINDAAM (Savabeel-Bayrock).

She was having her first start since her debut six months ago and she just went BANG!

Drawing wide, she came across from the outside to sit behind the speed in 3rd spot, then ambled up to the lead as they turned, went clear of her own volition then was asked to go with 100m to go.

She won eased down by 5 lengths and looks a star in the making.

Which, as a yearling, many thought she would. She cost $875,000 as a baby to the bid of Shadwell Farms.

Probably more because of her pedigree than her look. She’s pretty plain but she has top grade acceleration.

She is a close relation to the brilliant Gr 1 winner MERCHANT NAVY (Fastnet Rock-Legally Bay).

At Pakenham, months and months after her debut when backed off the map from $4.50 to $3.40 and going down by a nostril, she looked a different level of star.

She beat Pony Gram and Mayshestar.
