The Team Corstens trained The Astrologist has done Australia proud in Meydan overnight finishing a close second in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint.
The Astrologist was the only Australian owned and trained horse to race on Dubai World Cup night at Meydan and the gelding nearly made it a perfect result going down narrowly to Danyah in the 1200m Al Quoz Sprint where he was an $18 chance with Ladbrokes.
The Leon and Troy Corstens trained sprinter was coming off a sixth placed finish in the Newmarket Handicap behind In Secret.
