As the current favorite for The Everest 2023 with $3.50 odds and the $4.00 top elect with unibet for The Golden Eagle, the champion horse showcased his undeniable form by outclassing notable competitors Wee Nessy, Magic Time, What You Need, and Rose Quartz.
This morning’s performance was Giga Kick’s first significant hit-out since clinching victory in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 in Queensland this past May.
Trainer Clayton Douglas is now eyeing the Group 2 McEwen Stakes, a 1000m sprint set for Moonee Valley on September 9, as Giga Kick’s eagerly awaited first-up race.
