Star WA filly Arcadia Queen has secured a slot in this years edition of the $14m The Everest.
Racing NSW announced on Wednesday that connections of Arcadia Queen have worked out a deal with slot holder The Star Casino to give the Queen of the west a spot in The Everest Field.
The fillies owner Bob Peters has been pushing to get the filly a slot in The Everest for some months even going as far as moving her to Chris Waller’s stable in Sydney and ruling out a Cox Plate campaign.
Arcadia Queen has won four of her five starts including a 4.5L win in the Group One Kingston Town Classic.
