Apprentice jockey Melissa Julius has been taken to hospital following a fall in the seventh race at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
Update 8:30am:
Doctors at Royal Melbourne hospital have advise that scans have cleared Melissa Julius of any fractures and that she is likely to be discharged today.

Melissa Julius was riding the Erin Maher trained Obscura when she fell whilst passing the finishing post for the first time which prompted officials to abandon the race mid way through as medical professionals attended to her.
Melissa Julius was knocked unconscious from the fall but has since regained consciousness and is moving her arms and legs but is complaining of a sore neck and will be taken to hospital for further observation.
Race Eight has been rescheduled for 9PM.
