Two time Group 1 winner Stratum Star has been officially retired to stand at Widden Stud where his now deceased father stood.
Stratum Star raced 37 times for 8 wins including two Group 1’s in the way of the Sir Rupert Clark Stakes and the Kingston Town Classic.
The Darren Weir trained galloper also won the Group 2 Peter Young Stakes and the lucrative Magic Millions Trophy.
The son of Stratum amassed over $2.4million dollars throughout his career for connections.
This news comes after the announcement Astern would be retired to Darley studย Another star 3YO retired to stud.
