Talented mare Miss Pandanus has tragically drowned after taking fright while working at the beach south of Melbourne.
Trainer Mick Kent announced on RSN 927 that the 4YO mare, took fright and swam out to sea.
Sadly she became exhausted and was not able to make it back to land.
Miss Pandanus had four starts for two wins and two placings.
