A float carrying Jetsonic, Fresnapol, Whiskey Allround and Casual Choice from the Tony Gollan stable has gone down an embankment causing the horses to become trapped.
Stewards have tried to send an ambulance to the scene however due to traffic it is unable to get to the area.
Chief Stipe Allan Reardon has stated he is prepared to end the meeting if it is deemed the horses need more help.

UPDATE 4:08pm: All horses have been freed and early signs are that there are no serious injuries to any of them.
UPDATE: Jetsonic, Fresnapol, Whiskey Allround and Casual Choice have all been scratched from their respective races.

Stewards have sent veterinary help + other staff for four horses trapped in float. Staff on float are all okay. Float went down embankment.
