In Victoria and South Australia this afternoon, younger siblings of two proven superstar Gr 1 winning mares, will attempt to win further glories for their family tree.
The mares are JAMEKA (Myboycharlie-Mine Game) who won $4.8million in prizemoney inc the Caulfield Cup, and SUNLIGHT (Zoustar-Solar Charge) who landed her connections $6.3million, are both now retired.
But today is all about their baby relatives.
Jameka’s full-brother, GRANDSLAM, has drawn the rails as he resumes from the spell in race 3 at Sandown.
He is trained by Jameka’s trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace.
Grandslam has won a race during his first campaign already.
Sunlight’s little brother, HALOGEN, goes around in a maiden at Murray Bridge in race 4.
