Shoals will target the $13m Everest in October
Last start Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes winner Shoals will not line-up in next weekends Goodwood with connections opting to spell the mare with their sights set on the $13m Everest in October.
Shoals took her career prize money to just under $1.9million dollars with her third G1 victory in as little as six months on the weekend, becoming the only horse outside of Winx to win three Group 1’s this season.
The star 3YO filly will not race again this season with owners Pinecliff Racing and Arrowfield Stud firmly setting their sights on the $13 million dollar Everest at Randwick in October after they ruled out a possible trip to the UK for a run during the Royal Ascot carnival.
Shoals is currently a $31 chance with Sportsbet in The Everest markets.
