A second stable has been forced into lockdown after a staff member was in contact with a worker from another stable who has tested positive to COVID-19.
The Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young stable has been forced into lockdown this morning after a worker of theirs came into contact with the staff member from Richard Laming’s stable who has since tested positive to COVID-19.
Horses from the Busuttin and Young stable have been scratched from today’s meetings with the pair set to line-up Albarado in the Listed Mackenzie Stakes.
The news comes as trainer Richard Laming’s stables were forced into lockdown on Friday night after their stable employee returned a positive test to COVID-19 on Thursday.
All Cranbourne training tracks were closed on Saturday morning and both stables will remain in lock down until testing of all employees is completed.
