Redkirk Warrior has been given the opportunity to gallop between races at Flemington in preparation for his trip to Royal Ascot.
The Lindsay Park trained sprinter is tentatively booked to fly to the UK on June 6 after he has another hit-out at Werribee on May 28.
Lindsay Park is favouring the Diamond Jubilee but that could change if the forecast is for wet weather.
“His wet track form isn’t as good as his dry track form so we’re keeping all options open but the intention is to run on the Saturday,” co-trainer Tom Dabernig said.
Dabernig said he looked exceptionally sharp over the final 200m.
“I think the race day atmosphere will bring him on,” Dabernig said.
