Nash Rawiller has been suspended for nine meetings after stewards found him guilty of careless riding after his winning PB Lawrence Stakes steer aboard Private Eye.
The star Sydney-based hoop, who gave up his book of rides at Rosehill to follow Joe Pride’s Group 1 winner to Caulfield, was alleged to have caused interference to Here To Shock passing the 150-metre mark.
Rawiller’s time out starts on August 24 and he will be free to return from September 2.
Meanwhile, Ben Melham has also been rubbed out for nine meetings due to careless riding in the Vain Stakes after his mount Shaggy rolled out around the bend and caused interference to Lindsay Park pair Shining Smile and Tycoon Star.
Melham’s suspension begins on August 18 and he can resume riding on August 27.
