Jockey Nathan Berry rode a winning double at Warwick Farm on Wednesday but had his day soured by a suspension in the final race.
Berry partnered the Guy Walter-trained Dancing Attendance to victory in the Georges River Maiden Hcp (1600m) and made it a double two races later when the Gerald Ryan-trained two-year-old Road To Summer impressed on debut, taking out the Fairfield Maiden Plate (1200m).
However, Berry pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding aboard Fetes Alfresco in the ATC Foundation Membership Offer Handicap (2200m) following an incident leaving the straight the first time.
He was outed for six meetings for shifting in when not clear of Kerrin McEvoy’s mount Footstepsinthedust, causing that horse to be checked.
