Jockey Jamie Mott has had a partial win on appeal with two days being taken off a suspension for not riding his mount out to the finishing line.
Mott appealed the severity of an eight-meeting ban incurred at Sale last week at the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Tuesday.
He was suspended after finishing fourth aboard Call It A Day in a benchmark 64 class race.
Mott pleaded guilty to the charge of not riding Call It A Day out over the final one-and-a-half strides of the 1000m race.
The RAD Board reduced the suspension to six meetings and Mott can resume riding on Saturday.
