Mitch Beer Racing has confirmed a major development in its training ranks, with George Carpenter set to be elevated to co-trainer alongside Mitch Beer, pending Racing NSW approval.
Carpenter has been working as Assistant Trainer for the past year and has played a key role in the stable’s operations.
“George is a young, enthusiastic horseman who has fit into our team like he’s been here forever,” said Mitch Beer. “He’s got a natural feel for horses, a great attitude, and he’s already built strong relationships with many of our owners. This was a natural next step.”
Carpenter said he was honoured by the opportunity. “I’m really proud to be stepping into the co-trainer role. It means a lot to have Mitch’s trust and the support of such a great team and group of owners. I’m looking forward to continuing the work we’ve started together.”
Having already overseen much of the day-to-day communication — from managing stable routines to sending owner reports — Carpenter’s new title simply formalises responsibilities he has been handling successfully for months.
Owners and supporters can expect continuity, with the same standards of service and care, but now with two names officially guiding the stable’s future.
Mitch Beer Racing says the promotion marks an exciting new chapter, recognising Carpenter’s contribution and strengthening the team for seasons ahead.
