The seven-year-old mare, initially acquired for a modest $80,000, has amassed an impressive haul of over $1.2 million in prize money throughout her illustrious career.
Trainer Maher conveyed the decision to retire High Emocean to her owners with a poignant retrospective video, chronicling her journey from her maiden triumphs to her stellar performance in the Melbourne Cup.
It was in this iconic race where High Emocean captured the hearts of fans, storming to a commendable third-place finish behind Gold Trip and Emissary.
Her achievements include notable victories such as the Listed R.M. Ansett Classic and the Group 3 Bendigo Cup, securing her a coveted spot in the 2022 Melbourne Cup lineup with a feather-light 50 kilograms on her back.
