In response to the anticipated weather conditions in the Perth metropolitan area on November 25, Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) stewards have made the decision to abandon Race 1 at Ascot. The revised schedule will see Race 2 take precedence as the first race of the day, commencing at 3:00 pm AWST.
RWWA stewards remain vigilant and will actively monitor updates from the Bureau of Meteorology Duty Forecaster throughout the day to assess the suitability of race conditions. Additionally, a Ratings 66+ Handicap over 2100 meters has been included in the program for next Saturday’s Ascot meeting. This adjustment ensures a comprehensive and adaptable approach to the racing schedule, prioritising the safety and well-being of participants and horses.
