The Holy One has been scratched from the Caulfield Guineas

There has been a key scratching in the 2019 Caulfield Guineas field on Friday morning with the Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young trained galloper failing a vet test.

The Stutt Stakes winner The Holy One had heat in his near fore hoof and would be reassessed by a vet on Friday morning ahead of Saturday’s Group One event which he failed.

The scratching sees the more fancied Groundswell gain a start in the Field who was a $13 chance in Caulfield Guineas odds prior to the announcement.
