Jockey James McDonald has informed Racing NSW Stewards that he’s following specialist advice by stepping down from the Warwick Farm meeting tomorrow.
This move is prompted by the left foot injury he sustained at Rosehill Gardens on February 3rd.
He’ll also be absent from rides at Canterbury Park on February 9th and Royal Randwick on February 10th to aid his recovery.
Riding replacements for the Warwick Farm meeting will be announced as they become available.
Further updates regarding James McDonald’s return to racing will follow after additional medical assessment of his foot injury.
