Little Brose, the Group 1-winning son of Per Incanto, is set to begin his stud career at Little Avondale Stud in Wairarapa, New Zealand.
Standing alongside his sire, he will command a service fee of $15,000 + GST for the 2024 breeding season.
A star juvenile, Little Brose’s career highlights include his victory in the prestigious G1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m), cementing his place among Australia’s top two-year-olds.
Purchased for A$200,000 at the 2022 Magic Millions Sale, he also claimed the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes and placed in multiple Group 3 events.
After moving to Hong Kong under trainer David Hayes, Little Brose showed promise as a sprinter but retired following a career-ending trial injury.
Little Avondale’s Sam Williams hailed the acquisition as “a big coup,” adding, “The response has been overwhelming, and I think it’s a big plus for the New Zealand industry.”
Little Brose’s pedigree and racing achievements position him as an exciting addition to New Zealand’s stallion ranks.
