The David Jolly-trained Behemoth will be required to pass a veterinary inspection on Saturday morning if he is to take his place in The Golden Eagle field.
Behemoth displayed lameness in the near foreleg following an inspection by Racing NSW Veterinarians on Friday.

A further veterinary inspection conducted by Racing NSW Veterinarians today of Behemoth, which is an acceptor in the Iron Jack Golden Eagle at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, revealed the gelding has continued to display lameness in the near foreleg and is currently unsuitable for racing.
At the request of trainer David Jolly, Behemoth will be inspected on Saturday morning by Racing NSW Veterinarians, prior to the scratching deadline, to determine its suitability to start in tomorrowβs Golden Eagle.
