Group 2 winner Pearls has sadly passed away following her fall in Monday’s Triscay Stakes at Randwick.
Pearls fell heading around the turn in the second last race on the rescheduled ten race card which resulted in her breaking her shoulder, following the race she was taken to theΒ Randwick Equine Centre for assessment by the vets but sadly could not be saved and was euthanised.
The fall has also ruled Godolphin’s number one jockey jockey James Doyle out for over a month after he suffered a fractured hand in the incident.
Pearls was a winner of three races from fifteen career starts with her feature win coming in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes.
