Bart Cummings is normally associated with stayers.
However, his record in the Golden Slipper is far from shabby, having won the race on four occasions.
These were with Storm Queen (1966), Tontonan (1973), Vivarchi (1976) and Century Miss (1979).
From limited runners, he has struggled to win a Golden Slipper in recent times.
In fact, his only runners in the last ten years have been subsequent Golden Rose placegetter and Queensland Derby winner Empires Choice, who ran fifth to Miss Finland in 2006, and Related, who ran 14th as second favourite behind Sebring in 2008.
This year, Cummings will roll the dice by starting Starcraft colt Do You Think in the Group 2 Todman Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on Saturday.
The winner of the Todman Stakes is exempt from ballot for the Golden Slipper on April 2.
However, it will not be easy for Do You Think as other nominations include ultra-impressive Blue Diamond Stakes winner Sepoy, Breeders Plate winner Smart Missile and boom galloper Straight Gold.
Do You Think (Starcraft x Chickens) was originally named Ingham, a reference to chicken magnates and prominent racehorse owners Bob and Jack Ingham.Â
However, an objection from the Ingham family meant that a name change was needed.
Owner Dato Tan Chin Nam decided to honour his recently departed star So You Think by naming the Starcraft colt Do You Think.
While a Slipper start looks unlikely, he has trialled well and a top two finish is likely to see him progress to the Golden Slipper.
Do You Think is currently $101 for the Golden Slipper with TAB Sportsbet.
