Coffs Harbour race meeting postponed

Monday’s Coffs Harbour races have been postponed following overnight rain.

With 83mls of rain recorded for the week, 52mls of which were in the last 24 hours, the track conditions are deemed unsuitable for racing.

In particular, the 800m to 400m section of the course is waterlogged and squelchy, posing a potential danger to horses and riders.

The decision to postpone the meeting was made after careful consideration by the officials in order to ensure the safety and welfare of all involved.
