Caulfield Cup winner Boom Time is set to contest the Japan Cup with co-trainer Tom Dabernig confirming that connections have accepted an invitation for the Group One.
The Japan Cup is an invitational, weight for age event run over 2400 metres and attracts many of the worlds best with over $7 million in prize money on offer.
Boom Time produced a boilover to win the $3 million Caulfield Cup before finishing in the second half of the field in Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup.
Boom Time is scheduled to travel to Japan on Monday with the Japan Cup being run on Sunday, 26 November.
