Black Caviar’s impact as a broodmare received a timely boost after two of her granddaughters produced dominant wins within the space of a week.
Team Hawkes-trained two-year-old Panchenko made an outstanding debut at Bendigo on Sunday, cruising to a 5.25-length victory over 1000 metres after relishing the testing Heavy 10 conditions.

The Street Boss filly is set to have one more start before heading for a spell after impressing connections with her natural ability.
Her success came just days after stablemate Ready Forcocktails broke through for her first win at Randwick-Kensington, scoring by 2.88 lengths at her fourth career start.

Panchenko is the fourth foal of Oscietra, Black Caviar’s first foal, while Ready Forcocktails is the first foal of Ready For Caviar.
The victories provide fresh optimism for the family of the unbeaten champion, who produced eight foals before her death in 2024, with the next generation now beginning to emerge.
