Ayrton has been given a positive update on his health following scintigraphy scans, which were conducted to investigate his lackluster performance during the autumn season.
The six-year-old gelding, trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr, has been declared fit and is currently in pre-training.
Plans have been made to focus on races over shorter distances for Ayrton after he stretched to 1800 meters last spring.
Despite enduring a life-threatening spider bite and facing numerous setbacks caused by unsuitable wet tracks, Ayrton’s recent veterinary examinations have not revealed any major concerns.
The team at Roll The Dice Racing remains hopeful that he will bounce back in the upcoming spring season, with preparations underway to mold him into a sprinter or a 1400m specialist.
