Last years Inglis Easter Yearling Sale topper is set to make his debut in a maiden at Ballarat on Tuesday.
The Fastnet Rock x The Broken Shore colt ‘Groundswell’ who is the full brother to star sprinter Shoals will make his debut in Race Two at Ballarat (which is scheduled to jump at 1:30pm) for trainer Anthony Freedman where he is an easing $4.50 chance in betting with the TAB.
The blue blood colt was purchased by Anthony Freedman last year for a small syndicate of owners which include Pinecliff Racing and Arrowfield stud.
Groundswell has had one trial leading into the race where he finished fifth at Pakenham.
His full sister Tides broke her maiden at Bendigo last week at her second start.
