Ten horses have accepted this morning for Saturday’s $3 million Tatt’s Cox Plate (2040m).
It already looks on paper like it could be a classic Cox Plate.
Defending champion So You Think, who is the $1.50 favourite with TAB Sportsbet, has drawn barrier 5.
So You Think is unbeaten this preparation, having won the Memsie Stakes (1400m), the Underwood Stakes (1800m) and the Yalumba Stakes (2000m).
Second favourite More Joyous, winner of the George Main Stakes and Toorak Handicap, has drawn inside So You Think in barrier 3.

The Cox Plate will be Race 8 on a 9 race card, to be run at 5:35pm on Saturday afternoon.
It will be the first moves towards a night Cox Plate, which is at the helm of the Moonee Valley Racing Club’s plans over the next few years.
