One of the most expensive horses sold through the sales last year is set to make his debut at Rosehill on Wednesday.
The I Am Invincible colt out of Tai Tai Tess was sold at the Magic Millions sale for a massive $1.3million dollars and he (Volterra) is set to make his debut in the first race on today’s Rosehill twilight meeting.
He has had one trial heading into today’s race in which he won pretty impressively although the form through the trial is unknown with Volterra the first to race.
The colt is a full brother to Faretti who made $2million at the sales and has won one of his four career starts for the Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott stable.
Online bookmaker BetEasy has the Chris Waller trained galloper as the $2.20 second favourite in betting behind Hinchbeast.
The race is set to be run at 3:10PM with Rosehill testing the waters in twilight meetings during the summer carnival.
