These outstanding runs are starting to bob up all over the racing spectrum, and I’ll keep finding them.
Watch this win.
It was achieved on Thursday at Wyong and I’m tipping gave birth to a staying career we will hear a LOT more about.
The horse is trained by John O’Shea and is called SIGNIFICANCE (Frankel-Aqua Bella) and he’s a 3YO headed straight to the top.
You’ll not see many absolute demolition jobs like this very often.
And it seems the further the races go, the better and more dominant he will get. Yesterday he just took off 600m from home and well….you watch the footage.
He’s come home his last 600m in a tick over 34sec and was jogging!
His grandmother, AQUARELLISTE was Champion Female Stayer of France and Great Britain while racing after winning the Gr 1 Chantilly Prix de Diane, the Gr 1 Prix Vermeille, the Gr 1 Brix Ganay, the Gr 1 Prix Foy, and was 2nd in the Gr 1 l’Arc de Triomphe and the Gr 1 Hong Kong Vase.
This colt cost $1.1million as a yearling when purchased in 2018 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale. So far he has won $34,135.
This was his first win from 6 race starts to date.
A rather long way to go to recoup the outlay price, but the promise he is showing is noteworthy.
