A short priced favourite at Coonamble could be one of the biggest moral beats you will ever see.
The Kody Nestor trained Jake Pracey-Holmes ridden Activation jumped as the $1.75 favourite with Sportsbet in the first at Coonamble on Sunday but backers could only come away with a story of how they backed one of the worst beats ever.
Activation jumped away about three lengths slow before trailing the field by about eight lengths before he could muster and catch up to the field.
Once Activation caught the field he was pushed wide and was caught five deep around the turn whilst trying to continue his run.
He then loomed to win but weakend in the final stages of the race to run second beaten less than half a length.
