Dean Yendall will miss next Saturday’s finals day at Flemington after being suspended for careless riding at Moonee Valley.
Yendall was outed for eight meetings for his ride on the Peter Snowden-trained two-year-old Pied A Terre who won the Tuscan Mechanical Hcp (1200m) at his race debut.
Yendall will miss the ride on Rocky Times in Saturday’s Listed $200,000 Winter Championship Series Final (1600m).
He will start the suspension after riding at Mildura on Monday, a meeting at which he rode six winners last year.
