Stablemates Avilius and Best Of Days have been singled out late in Winx Stakes betting
Punters have singled out two horses in today’s Group One Winx Stakes at Randwick.
There has been strong late support for Avilius and Best Of Days to win the G1 Winx Stakes at Randwick.
Avilius who opened favourite had remained at his opening quote of $3.20 throughout betting until late money came for the Godolphin star which has seen his quote turn into $2.80 and is likely to start shorter come race time.
The only other runner to receive backing today has been stablemate Best Of Days who has shortened from $17 into $10 in the last few hours.
Outside of these two runners Happy Clapper had good backing earlier in the week with all other horses on the drift despite Verry Elleegant holding the second most money on the race behind Avilius.
