The Caulfield Classic yesterday was going to shape up the 2020 Victoria Derby market significantly and that was certainly the case with the TAB all in market.
Winner of the race was Albarado, who has had a busy schedule but found plenty to win. He is $26 into $9 for the race, just behind Hit The Shot, who was a real eye catcher late. He too was $26 prior but after his slashing effort, is now at $8.
Redwood Shadow was close up and is $15, in from $17, while a couple of flops, Cetshwayo ($13-$17) and The Pres ($17-$51), have seen their prices ease out.
